I Wish My Car Went That Fast!
Through Jan, a member on our forum we got hooked up with a British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) driver by the name of Martyn Bell. 2006 saw Martyn and his team competing in their first season of the BTCC. No stranger to motor racing, previously Martyn was a driver in the Kumho BMW Championship, BTCC being the next step up the ladder.
Anyone attending the race events would have seen the HW logo screaming past speeds of over 100mph.
Although not without it’s set back’s Martyn had a good first season racing with the ‘big boys’. Overall he finished 17th in the drivers championship and 11th in the independent drivers.
For the car buffs, Martyn drives a BMW E46 2.0i S2000 TOURING CAR with a mere 280bhp (restricted).

I know how hard you have worked for this,, and our Oy Tekkie has been locked in a remote Scottish croft since 1922 just slogging away on his abacus sorry,,, computer.. You have all done a fantastic job , it was lovely to see you ,your lovely wife Claire and HW Jon earlier this year at the Donnington BTCC meeting. I know that the site will go from strength to strength THE BEST ON THE INTERNET
